This document sets out contractual terms that are legally binding on you, therefore it is important that you read and understand.
Iceland In a Taxi may change the terms of the Agreement from time to time. As stated on the Icelandinataxi.is website, when you click the appropriate button to continue with your registration or activity, that action will constitute acceptance of the Agreement. Icelandinataxi.is an online booking site and trading name of Iceland In a Taxi. Our registered head office is at Lækjasmári 60, 201 Kópavogur, Iceland. No contract between you and Icelandinataxi.is shall come into existence until Icelandinataxi.is accepts full payment and issues a confirmation invoice.
The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payment due from the party. Booking services with Icelandinataxi.is are currently only available to persons who are at least 18 years old. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult.
Pickup time – “No Show”
A “No Show”, is when a passenger does not arrive for pickup within a certain amount of time. Upon “No Show” there will be no refunds made to tours/transfers.
Provided we get the flight details beforehand, we monitor the flight status and there are no additional charges for flight delays.
Our driver-guides wait for maximum 90 minutes from the official “Landed” time stated on Keflavik airport information screens or on Keflavik Airport official website. After 90 minutes the tour/transfer is considered as a “No Show”.
Without any flight information or contact from customer that he/she will be arriving (late), our driver-guides wait for 60 minutes from scheduled time. After 60 minutes the tour/transfer is considered as a “No Show”.
All other transfers or tours (other than Keflavik Airport pickup) your driver-guide waits for maximum 30 minutes until your tour is considered as a “No Show”
All tours are paid to full at the time of booking.
We accept all major credit cards through our website payment gateway, bank transfer, PayPal or wire payments.
For all cancellations, Iceland In a Taxi will make every effort to ensure the best protection for you. All cancellations must be sent to Iceland In a Taxi in writing, by e-mail.
If you wish to change or cancel your day tour in Iceland, please contact Iceland In a Taxi as soon as possible. 10% of the price of your tour are non-refundable. The 10% will be used to cover fees connected to your booking such as credit card transactions and other administrative charges. Refunds will only be issued to the card used to purchase the tour. We strongly recommend that all our clients take out comprehensive travel insurance to avoid dispute in case of cancellation or injuries/accidents.
If you cancel your booking with more than 7 days notice we will refund 90% of the tour price.
If you cancel your booking 3-7 days in advance, we will refund 50% of the tour price
Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable.
All cancellations must be sent to Iceland In a Taxi in writing, by email.
Terms of Payment
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS:
Iceland In a Taxi accepts all major credit cards as well PayPal. If your package is being paid for with a third-party credit card, we will require written authorisation from the cardholder via fax or letter.
PAYMENT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING:
Iceland In a Taxi charges the full amount at the time of booking.
INVOICE & VOUCHER DELIVERY
All travel documents are sent electronically as PDF documents attached in an email.
All payment receipts are issued by email.
